Ron and I have been asked to put on a cooking demonstration again. The segments will be at 1:30 p.m. and again at 4 p.m. at the Organic Growers' Market tomorrow. This week we'll make "Citrus Winter Greens" with a honey citrus dressing. We created this recipe to highlight as many farmers at the Market as possible:
Greens: Collards, Turnip, Mustard, Swiss Chard
Citrus: Oranges, Lemons, Grapefruit
Other ingredients: Garlic cloves, onions and honey
Ingredient list and samples will be provided.
A raffle is a lot of fun, come join...$1 per ticket.... The winner gets $20 in fake money to spend at any or all the farmers' booths. Get just a couple items or fill the basket!

will be drawn at 4:30 p.m.

proceeds raised will go towards increasing awareness of the Growers' Market to
the surrounding communities in order to promote sustainable healthy living,
access to local organic methods farmers and better food choices.
