2015 Availability List - March 1 Update

Little Eden Heirloom Farm
~Always Heirloom~
~Always Organic~

Welcome to March!

We're busily planting about 25 flats of spring seedlings in the ground with more flats either too young to plant outside or those tomatoes, etc., that waiting on consistent warmer weather. We did plant some zucchini and yellow squash outside which are growing nicely, the zucchini has flower buds so we're praying to have a nice crop before the bugs insist on their share.

For those that have asked to be emailed information about our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Farm Share program, email us at  littleedenheirloomfarm@zoho.com for an introduction and information packet. I've attached here a sample photograph of a recent Full Share with egg Add-On. I have not had a chance to update the packet but we now collaborate with three other local organic farms to provide to a larger customer base. A win for those that want to support local organic growers and a win for us small farmers.

If you are interested in heirloom tomato plants, we have hundreds from 2" tall to 10" tall and more that are germinating. We'll start this week bringing them to the Organic Growers' Market at Lake Ella and next week also to the New Sunshine Market at Southwood. Price range varies (avg. $2 per plant) from the size and if they are potted, cheaper if unpotted. I'll try to have a list of the varieties tomorrow or Tuesday so send me an email and let me know you are interested and how many.
